The Detroit Metro Convention & Visitor’s Bureau needed a website for their annual ROSE Awards program. This program recognizes outstanding customer service among non-managerial service industry professionals in Metro Detroit. The goal was to have a website where people could nominate someone who had just provided outstanding customer service for them (hotel, restaurant, transportation, etc).

We created a website form that connected to a database that would capture all of this information over a period of a couple of months. Then when the nomination period was closed, the DMCVB staff was provided with a platform where they could upload photos of the several hundred nominees into another database. We created pages where each nominee’s photo was automatically displayed along with the comments from their nomination. Visitors could peruse the site and read about all of the nominees, and then place their vote for one ultimate winner. This new site helped to make the program the most successful it had been in 13 years.
